Requesting a Scoutmaster Conference
for Rank Advancement

When you've completed all the requirement to move to the next rank, you'll need to have a Scoutmaster Conference (SMC).

Scouts must request an SMC in writing using the Request for Scoutmaster Conference form.  When you have done that, the Advancement chairperson will send you a copy of your records from TroopMaster.  That will include all the merit badges you've earned, how many service hours you've completed and a summary of all the rank requirements completed to date.  If everything is in order, the Scoutmaster will schedule your Scoutmaster Conference.

Before attending your Scoutmaster Conference, you will also need to fill out the appropriate form for the rank you hope to attain. This form has information that you and the Scoutmaster will use during your conference.
